About Us
We met online on Christian Mingle on 1/28/08 and one month later we were sitting across from one another for the first time at Starbucks in Princeton. We both knew right away that we had something special and before long we were doing everything we could to spend all our free time together. Memorial Day Weekend Hans met my family in NH...a first for me! This was an amazing time. From that point on we both began talking more and more about marriage. Finally on 6/14/08 we attended a friends wedding, where the above picture was taken. In a quiet moment during the reception we went for a walk and for the first time we professed our love to one another. It was like a dream...better than any movie. The next day Hans told me of his intentions to marry me and since that day we have been planning the rest of our lives together. The deal wasn't sealed, however, until Hans asked the permission of my hand in marriage from both of my dads :) They were both touched deeply by his request and were more than happy to invite him into our family. I have never been happier. We are truly blessed to have this love!
About Our Honeymoon
We will be staying in a private cottage near the beach in Kauai, HI! We will spend 7 nights and return to NJ on the 8th day. Neither of us have been to HI before so this should be an exciting first time trip for us both. Kauai is a beautiful "paradise" island that is known for its hiking and lots of outdoor activities. Kauai is considered an ideal honeymoon spot. It is tropical and relaxing without all the rush of the other islands with heavy tourism.
