A Day of Diving
Ambergris Caye offers superb snorkeling. It can be quite pleasant to float around and see what you can see Even just off the shore's edge at our resort. However, to enjoy it best we need to take a short boat trip out from shore to the three most-popular areas for snorkeling: Hol Chan Marine Reserve, Shark-Sting Ray Alley and Mexico Rocks. Here, we can expect to see large groupers, nurse sharks, sting rays, moray and other eels, spadefish, schoolmasters and other fish. Much of the bottom is sandy, but we also will see bright coral. We've also read that the best water visibility is in late Spring!

A Night out in San Pedro!
We may try out the Barefoot Iguana Bar one night in the town! It has a little bit of everything there in the two story hangar sized space!

Adventures of the Jones's
Just like Indiana, we'll be traipsing through the jungles one day. Starting with a winding boat ride through the Northern River, we will then visit the enchanting and impressive Altun-Ha Mayan ruins, and finally we might take a refreshing dip in the exotic pool at Maruba Resort!

All day guided flyfishing
We are going to spend 3 days fly fishing on flat water inside the reef or in the lagoon and rivers, lakes and mangrove ponds.

All Terrain Jungle Buggy
Experience the ride of your life on board the Polaris Ranger RZR! Follow the instructions provided by your tour guide and follow him into the jungle. Experience the fun when you ride your Polaris RZR on narrow paths filled with mud and grass where you can almost taste the thrill! After this great experience, follow your guide to the restaurant where a delicious Mexican style buffet and complimentary beverages await.

Of the many rooms to choose from at Jaguar Reef, we chose the poolside room because Matthew heard the bathroom was "grand" and knew Ashley would love it. Plus the sea is visible from the bed!

Boat Ride to Paradise!
Once in San Pedro, we still have a boat ride to our resort! The resort is only 5 miles north of the town, but apparently the water is less bumpy than the roads!
